Our client is an insurance provider based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They
are seeking a talented Commercial Lines Account Manager/Team Lead to join
their team in order to provide oversight and stellar service delivery to
an established book of business, as well as continue to grow the business
through existing accounts. This is all to be done while mentoring and leading
others in the agency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility for the professional delivery of service to an
established insurance book of business in the range of $4-10 Million
- Provide oversight and mentorship to other account managers and employees
in the agency
- Evaluation and improvement of work processes and standards to improve
the customer experience
- Foster open channels of communication, resolve problems, and promote
teamwork
- Identify opportunities for new and improved sources of revenue generation
- Collaborate and contribute in a positive work environment that fosters
excellence and engagement; focus on building customer loyalty
Qualifications:
- 5+ years commercial/business insurance CSR experience, ideally in an
Account Manager or similar type of role with responsibility of a book of business
in the $4-10 Million range
- Must possess a clear understanding of Property & Casualty insurance and the
intricacies required to manage and coordinate large groups
- Experience with auto, and workers compensation insurance, as well as a
certification (such as CIC, CISR, etc.) are strongly preferred
- Experience with construction, engineering, and/or oil and gas industry is
highly desirable
- Experience working with Applied TAM Software is required
- Bachelors Degree is a plus
- Successful experience working to fulfill customer expectations in the
insurance field
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving ability, sound judgement, and
process orientation
- Strong computer and technology skills; Fluent in MS Word, MS Excel, and
MS PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively interact with managers, employees, and customers
- Ability to successfully work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates through action, high integrity
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to take information/data
to make effective business decisions
